OME Staff Highlight

Alisa Price joined the Office of Medical Education July 15, 2024, as an education administrator.  She is thrilled to embark on this journey as the course administrator for the newly redesigned course curriculum.  She most recently worked for the State of Mississippi’s Department of Education in the Office of Special Education.  Alisa hails from Virginia and her higher education career has included roles as an associate director in the Office of Enrollment Services at Trinity Washington University, and as an assistant director in the Office of Admissions for The Art Institute of Washington in Washington, DC.  As a theatre enthusiast, she first moved to Mississippi as a professional acting intern for New Stage Theatre, and later became their Box Office Manager for several years.  Alisa obtained her undergraduate degree in Theatre Arts from High Point University in High Point, NC.  She and her husband, Hillery, live in Ridgeland and are the proud parents of a daughter, Darryn, and two sons, Gabriel and Elijah, whom they have lovingly nicknamed the “Three Fuskateers”.
